  • I am glad that I will have this opportunity to really speak about my experience with Grand Buick GMC Kia. Let me first start off by saying that you would not have had me as a customer ever, now nor in the future if it wasn't for one of your exquisite sales person by the name of Damarcus Rhodes. I will tell you the first half of the story later, but for now I want t give praise, where praise is due...Damarcus Rhodes is a prime example of what a sales associate represents. Damarcus Rhodes was alert, professional, courteous, patient and knowledgeable about the vehicles options that he presented to me. How likely am I to refer someone to Grand Buick GMC Kia, from a score from 1 to 10, he would score a 100. I remember telling Damarcus Rhodes, that with or without Grand Buick GMC Kia, I was getting a car that weekend. His response was ... "Of course you're not going to get a car this weekend; you're going to get a car tonight." I liked that response and although reluctant to re-enter Grand Buick GMC Kia's doors after just moments before being rudely dismissed by another one of your salesman, I gave him an opportunity to earn my business. By no means am I wealthy, nor publically prominent in the community, but do believe I matter; And because Damarcus Rhodes' professionalism, commitment and Courteousness, I purchased a vehicle from Grand Buick GMC Kia...let me rephrase that, I purchased a car from Damarcus Rhodes, who Grand Buick GMC Kia had the smarts to employ. There I said it! Originally I had set an appointment with another salesman weeks in advance from; we spoke twice, once to set up the appointment the other to confirm. Upon my arrival this salesman, which in my opinion the worst salesman ever on this planet, showed me briefly a few cars within the same vicinity of each other, dismissed me simply and didn't give me a second glance. I was really discouraged by having wasted 30 minutes of my valuable time with the most unprofessional and awful salesman I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with. He gave me the impression of laziness and care-less attitude. I will say this salesman's name only once in this letter (James Griego) and this is only to point out the comparison of the two... great and small, tipping the scale towards Damarcus Rhodes as 100% GREAT; I wish I had the opportunity to have been in contact with Damarcus Rhodes from the beginning of my car buying experience, however, grateful to have met him just the same. Thank you Grand Buick GMC Kia to have had someone with a willingness to help me at the precise moment I needed, a good eye, an awesome attitude and professional spirit.   • Heard a whinning noise coming from my engine area. Set up an appointment with Bob and he had my vehicle checked out. The noise was coming my four wheel drive switch being in the wrong position. This cause the whinning noise. Once the switch was returned to the correct position, the noise ceased. However, because I drove my vehicle for a week at high speeds, seals were broken and I noticed leakage in my garage.   • I originally was emailing back and forth with Scott Absher, I was looking for a GMC, between an '03-'08. I gave him a price range I was comfortable with, and specifics for the truck. He got and '03 in that he wanted me to see. When I got there, I was informed the '03 had already been sold. Kind of upset, Scott wanted to check around. He came back, and said he had an '11. I thought the price would be out of my range. I drove it, and we worked a price that I was comfortable with. Never thought I would buy a 2 yr. old truck, but I did.   • We purchased a Buick Regal New 2012. The Salespeople we worked with were exceptional. Zak, and Scott were awesome, very knowledgeable not to mention professional. It was a pleasure to work with Zak, very honest and great personality. Tree King, Customer Care was absolutely incredible and provided the Human Element which is rare these days. She was the best. We were disappointed that we did not get more money for our Trade In and felt it was somewhat unfair based on the Ad that was run, but we are happy with the Car and certainly do not mean any disrespect.   • 5/11/20123: Purchased car 3/22/2013. Have had car into dealer for service due to same issue 5/6 times. 3 times in this past week. Service Rear Axle and Service All Wheel Drive System. We were basically told that because the system did not hold the service code there was nothing that could be done. On Wednesday of this past week the light came on during service hours. I took the car in and the service department ran the codes and did work based on what GM tech told them. On Friday Lights came back on, Car is back at the dealer in the service department to be worked on again. I have been working with the same person in the Service Department front office and I am very pleased with the service and consideration he has given me. He understands that this is frustrating and is doing what he can to get the issue resolved. I do not believe that this is a negative on the service department front office or techs. They have been doing exactly as GM tech is giving them instruction to do. Replace the Differential Control Module, They also replace the rear main seal because they could see that it was seeping. Service Dept. front Office person is going to work with the service manager on Monday to contact GM tech and see what can be done. When we dropped the car off yesterday the lights were on and they came back on after the car was shut off which was a first. Hopefully the service manager will be able to get some resolution to the issues through GM tech support. I have been very pleased with the service that I have received from the service department front office and Techs. Not very please that the car is having the issues. I feel that GM has washed their hands of me since I have already purchased the car. I do not feel that this is a reflection on Grand as they have been doing all that they can to resolve the issue.
