5/11/20123: Purchased car 3/22/2013. Have had car into dealer for service due to same issue 5/6 times. 3 times in this past week. Service Rear Axle and Service All Wheel Drive System. We were basically told that because the system did not hold the service code there was nothing that could be done. On Wednesday of this past week the light came on during service hours. I took the car in and the service department ran the codes and did work based on what GM tech told them. On Friday Lights came back on, Car is back at the dealer in the service department to be worked on again. I have been working with the same person in the Service Department front office and I am very pleased with the service and consideration he has given me. He understands that this is frustrating and is doing what he can to get the issue resolved. I do not believe that this is a negative on the service department front office or techs. They have been doing exactly as GM tech is giving them instruction to do. Replace the Differential Control Module, They also replace the rear main seal because they could see that it was seeping. Service Dept. front Office person is going to work with the service manager on Monday to contact GM tech and see what can be done. When we dropped the car off yesterday the lights were on and they came back on after the car was shut off which was a first. Hopefully the service manager will be able to get some resolution to the issues through GM tech support. I have been very pleased with the service that I have received from the service department front office and Techs. Not very please that the car is having the issues. I feel that GM has washed their hands of me since I have already purchased the car. I do not feel that this is a reflection on Grand as they have been doing all that they can to resolve the issue. I had no intention of buying a vehicle the day I came into your dealer ship. I was introduced to James my sales agent, I was looking for a Denali. James said he had one that was a demo, we took it for a drive, wow what an awesome vehicle. It had all the bells, whistles & more than you could imagine. Needless to say I made an offer, thanks to James & Chris I drove away with a 2012 Denali that had only 5,416 miles & all warranties. The people at Grand Buick GMC know how to treat their customers, they are not high pressure salesman, they listen to what you want & if you find something you want they are willing to work with you on the price. If I ever need to buy another vehicle, I will go back to Grand Buick GMC, it would also be fantastic if James & Chris would be there! I brought in my 2011 LaCrosse cXL for the 30K checkup. The offer of the Buick establishment to drive me bAck home and pick me up once the work was completed was an feature that I did not know existed until it was offered to me. What a great program. It made my day. The drivers were great to talk with and the ride was very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and I am glad that I wnt to my Buick dealership for this service. I was having problems with my vehicle and cost is sometimes a key factor in deciding on where to take your vehicle for service. Terrance was a big help and provided all the information that I needed to make the right decision to get my vehicle serviced at Grand! He is always very helpful and he makes sure that the customer is satisfied. He is very knowledgable and is great at what he does. I've had one bad experience and it was when Terrance wasn't there.
